May 16, 2023May 16, 2023

Selection of eol and mol optical switches for singlemode and multimode applications

Developed for applications in telecommunications, measurement, testing and biomedical. FIBERTech RoMack, A LEONI Fiber Optics business unit, introduces its new standard line of eol and mol optical switches. FIBERTech RoMack's switch has proven effective in a number of complex applications including spectroscopy (mol series), laser scan microscopy, multichannel optical performance monitoring, fiber bragg sensors, testing of fiber optical cables and environmental trace analysis.

Our fiber optic switches are based on a patented micromechanical/micro-optical design. This guarantees exceptional properties, significant flexibility and maximum long-term stability for many applications.

The switches are available for wide wavelength ranges from the visible to the infrared (VIS – IR) and for a wide variety of fiber types, including PM fibers with the eol series. Switches with a higher specified number of channels may also be developed and manufactured upon request.
